Emmanuel’s Signposts Project in Ekiti

by Muhammad Idris

This community service initiative, led by Emmanuel Onomso Maigida (state code: ek/23b/3748), exemplifies dedication and impact in Epe, Ijero Local Government of Ekiti State.

Emmanuel’s personal community development service (CDS) project involved constructing and installing directional signposts at twelve (12) strategic locations throughout the Epe community. This effort aims to improve municipal service delivery and provide clear street directions, greatly benefiting the residents.
The locations of the signposts are:
1. Tèmídire Street
2. Ìgbàleje Street
3. Òkè-Èré Street
4. Mosáfého Street
5. Ògbóntuntun Street
6. Èrìnjinyàn Street
7. Òke-Òde Street
8. Òke-Awólòwò Street
9. Ìmólékere Street
10. Ìdí-Osè Street
11. Ògbèsè Street
12. Elépè Palace

Emmanuel is one of the many young Nigerians I have the honor of mentoring. He embodies the spirit of leading change through community service, particularly in rural areas across Nigeria. According to him, about 200 people living along these 12 streets benefit from this project. His dedication and hard work make me incredibly proud.
