As a member of BringBackOurGirls (#BBOG) campaign group advocating for the release of the abducted Chibok School girls, I occasionally attended the daily seat-outs and have participated in several #BBOG peaceful protests and demonstrations. I was among the members that took the parents of the abducted Chibok girls to the Presidential Villa to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari in January 14, 2016. These protests and demonstrations have been part of the efforts that drew the attention of the local and international Governments and Organizations which led to the negotiation and release of some abducted girls.
